Male infertility may present as decreased sperm count and motility, dead sperms, abnormal sperms or absent sperms. Though there may be several reasons for the same, many times it may be unexplained. Hence treatment of male infertility is rather difficult at times and also empirical. Decreased sperm count and motility is often treated with antioxidants, but if it is unexplained, the results can be disappointing and treatment with assisted reproductive technology may be required.
