Most patients with ovulatory dysfunction have polycystic ovarian syndrome which can sometimes be very difficult to treat. Patients with this syndrome can be obese or lean. Many of them ovulate with oral medication or injections but the right dose of medication varies in different patients. These patients are also at a high risk of hyperstimulation, hence judicious use of the right medicine in the right patient is the key to success.
