When all the various male and female causes of infertility have been investigated and no obvious cause has been found, we label the cause as unexplained infertility. This is most difficult to treat but here too the cause can be either failed fertilization or failed implantation. There is no other simple test to find out the reasons for the above. Ivf may provide the answer to some extent.
