While treating a couple for infertility, after all the various male and female factors have been ruled out, unexplained infertility is said to be the cause in such couples. This is the most difficult to treat since there is no obvious cause. Intra uterine insemination or if that does not work, invitro fertilization may prove useful in such couples.
