Anovulation is a very important cause of infertility. There are different causes for Anovulation. In some patients the ovarian reserve may be very poor and such patients have low Amh , high FSH and low antral follicular count, thus can be labeled as premature ovarian failure. Others have high Amh, normal FSH, high lh and high antral follicular count , otherwise termed polycystic ovarian disease. The treatment is different for both groups of patients.
