As a continuation of my previous update, adenomyosis where endometrial cells grow in the wall of the uterus is rather difficult to treat .patients suffer from severe dysmenorrhea or pain during menses. Some also have excessive flow during menses. Patients with infertility and adenomyosis are rather difficult to treat. Adenomyomectomy is one of the treatment options. Medical therapy involves giving dinogest tablets for 3 to 6 mths and then trying for fertility treatment.
