Endometriosis and adenomyosis are very important causes of infertility. Endometriosis can be treated with surgery or drugs. Surgery involves removing of endometriomas or chocolate cysts, removing adhesions and removal of adenomyomas. Medical treatment involves use of tablets or injections for ovarian suppression. After treatment of endometriosis, fertility treatment should be started as early as possible. It is also important to check Amh levels in patients with endometriosis of ovaries to asses the ovarian reserve which in turn helps us to decide treatment modalities for iinfertility.
