Let us discuss some aspects of unexplained infertility. This is a diagnosis of exclusion when all probable causes of infertility have been ruled out both in the male and the female partner. Male should have a normal semen analysis and also not have any mechanical impediments to infertility. Female should be ovulating normally with normal endometrial thickness, both fallopian tubes should be patent, uterus should be normal and there should also be no peritoneal factors like endometriosis or pelvic infection
