What is the treatment for poor ovarian reserve and impending ovarian failure? A high index of suspicion especially in patients who have irregular menses, scanty menses or frequent cycles is very important to diagnose this condition early. If diagnosed in a young unmarried patient, fertility preservation by ovarian stimulation with Oocyte vitrification can be done. These oocytes can be stored go future use. In married patients an early recourse to IVF would be the ideal option. All these patients need to be given DHEA to improve the oocute quality to get good quality embryos at IVF
